{weekender} Brunch at The Roundhouse in Beacon NY

After wandering the expansive Dia Beacon, it was a short 5 minute drive to the rustic Roundhouse Hotel for a late brunch. The Roundhouse spans several brick buildings which were part of a former textile manufacturing firm in the late 1800s. The main structure is located above a small river that runs through the town of Beacon. Inside the restaurant, diners sit on lush red chairs overlooking the rushing waterfalls. Mid-century modern furniture decorated the area in dark and natural wood tones. The atmosphere was calm, and a fireplace warmed the lounge on this chilly Sunday.
