August in Paris

It had been around two years since I spent a good amount of time in Paris, so this spring I decided to book an apartment to stay in the French capital for six weeks over summer. After relaxing in the south of France for 2 weeks, it was off to Bretagne before settling into my new home in the 10th arrondissement of Paris in August.

Wondering what to expect during summer in Paris? While some people say that Paris is magical any time of the year, practically speaking, you’ll want to consciously avoid Paris in August – the month when nearly all Parisians vacate the city en route to a more tropical destination, June and July are wonderful times to visit Paris!

Nevertheless, there are plenty of things to do in Paris in summer to keep you occupied!
