Place de la République
Place de la République lies at the intersection of the 3rd, 10th and 11th arrondissements in Paris. It is of high importance during times of unrest in Paris and many protests begin in the plaza. After the November 2015 terror attacks on Paris, many people gathered to rally against terrorism in the plaza.
In the center, a large statue of Marianne, the personification of France stands tall.
