Christmastime in Paris: Where You Need to Go!
Paris at Christmastime is simply magique. Last week, I visited central Paris (the 1st arrondissement) to see the lovely Christmas decorations in one of the chicest neighborhoods in town. Enormous sapins de Noël were standing tall at Place Vendôme, each wrapped in the most delicate of string lights to create a festive sparkle in this chic plaza.
If you’re wondering where to visit during Christmastime in Paris, here are my recommendations:
- Place Vendôme – Without a doubt, this enormous plaza is a must visit if you are in Paris during December!
- Village Royal – This is a tiny side-street where a gorgeous Christmas tree decorated in gold stands among luxury shops and a cute sidewalk restaurant. It’s super adorable.
- Galeries Lafayette – This celebrated department store takes Christmas decor to a whole new level. Be warned: when visiting on a weekend in December, you’ll be fighting major crowds!
